Cameron♥ and that other lady
Continuing the Shylah thing...
Noroi: Noroi was listening from under a bush at the edge of the clearing, curious. She kinda wanted to go too... maybe she could bite Shylah for hurting her friends >|I
Kiko: "Good," He sighed. "But can you tell me what /did/ happen?" He urged her.
Star: Star repeated what Zo had told her. "And it's just completely ridiculous!" she finished. D|<
Kiko: "Seriously--mind if I come with you?" Kiko asked her, running a hand through his hair frustratedly.
Noroi: Noroi slunk out from under her bush towards them. - .o She wanted to come too o ^o
Star: Star couldn't help but mess his hair up a bit when he did that. "If you want to," she replied with, before seeing Noroi. "Hello little dragon," the white-haired woman greeted with a smile. "I'm glad you have your eye back!"
Noroi: Noroi smiled happily at Star and padded over to them, her tail twitching a bit. "Can I come too?" she asked. Pleasey pleaaaseee say yess > ^<
Star: Star's eyebrows creased downwards a moment, trying to decide if she should bring Noroi along or not. "Do you promise to be careful, and always stay next to me and Kiko?"
Noroi: Noroi nodded quickly. "I promise." she said, just really wanting to come too.
Kiko: He laughed softly beside them, noticing that Noroi had indeed gotten her eye back. That was one good thing about this, but he wondered what it had cost Zo. "Let's get going," He told them, turning away.
Star: Star nodded, and scooped Noroi up into her arms, beginning to walk in the direction she believed the cave was in.
Noroi: Noroi blinked and happily let Star carry her, but moved a bit so she was halfway on her shoulder o wo
Kiko: ----and lets just pretend that they got to the cave already----
Kiko: His silver eye flickered towards the dark opening, before he turned his head towards Star. "This is the place?"
Star: Star studied the cave, peering into its shadowy entrance. "I believe so," she answered, setting Noroi down, but keeping her close.
Noroi: The young dragon looked around curiously at the imps that were moving around. She had no idea what these things were o Oo
Shylah: Shylah was still snoozing at her desk, her head resting in her arms. No one was bothering her, so obviously nothing was wrong. If there was nothing wrong, it was okay for her to sleep, which she needed quite badly.
Kiko: He raised an arm, cautioning the two behind him that he would enter first as he stepped into the cave. He blinked a few times, allowing his vision to adjust. "Now where's Shylah.."
Star: Star followed Kiko, looking around. What an odd place... She tapped the ground with her heel, her eyebrows perking upwards in surprise. "There's an entire system of tunnels down below," she told the two, and once again made sure Noroi was close to her.
Noroi: Noroi was staying close, but kinda trying to go see what one of the imps was doin. - .o
Shylah: Shylah blinked awake at the feeling of someone prodding her in the side. "Hn.. what do you want?" she grumbled, looking at the imp. "Zo's friends showed up." it told her and she frowned, sitting up. So much for that nap. "Great." she replied, and the imp darted off.
Kiko: Kiko glanced at the both of them, before continuing on once his vision had adjusted. He was the shadow lord, after all, it'd be funny if he had trouble seeing in the dark. "Watch your step."
Star: Star nodded, and walked forwards a bit, spotting the door. She went over, placing her hand on the handle.
Noroi: Noroi blinked and poked the imp before padding back over to Star and Kiko < <
Shylah: The door handle wasn't cold like it had been before, and Shylah had leaned back in her chair, her feet up on the desk, just waiting patiently.
Kiko: He waited, his vision flickering between them. "Think she's behind there?"
Star: Star turned the knob, opening the door. She poked her head in, seeing Shylah. "Yep, she is," the woman answered Kiko.
Noroi: Noroi gazed into the room and moved a bit closer to Star cuz hey that's the scary eye-stealin lady, grrr D|<
Shylah: Shylah blinked, gazing at them. She seemed to be waiting to see what they had to say.
Noroi: Noroi let out a slight growl and scooted a bit closer to Star even though she looked about ready to pounce into the room.
Star: The white-haired woman looked down at the young dragon, and her bandaged fingertips just barely touching Noroi's head. She opened the door completely, her colourful eyes staying on Shylah. "We need to talk."
Shylah: "I guessed." the girl replied.
Kiko: His eyes trailed from Star, and across the room to Shylah. He wasn't incredibly happy to be seeing her again.
Noroi: Noroi was now confused between wanting to bite the lady at the desk and wanting to hide so her eye wouldn't be torn out again.
Star: Star walked into the room, before folding her arms. "So, what was the point of trying to kill Zo, hmm?"
Shylah: "I didn't try to kill him." the girl replied, gazing at the woman. "I was hoping there would be a different reaction."
Kiko: Kiko followed Star in, standing beside her and Noroi. "A different reaction?" Kiko raised his eyebrows as he spoke. He didn't sound mad; his voice was calm, even curious. "Oh yes, that makes it different, what exactly were you hoping for?"
Noroi: The young dragon now seemed as though it was trying to clamber up to get to Star's shoulder |T
Star: Star helped Noroi, and waited for Shylah's answer to Kiko's question.
Shylah: "I was hoping the dog /wouldn't/ attack." she replied, gazing at him as though he was an idiot. "Some things don't go as planned."
Kiko: He shook his head. "No, but what else would you expect from it? It might've been starving, for all we know," He replied with accuracy.
Noroi: The young dragon rested happily on Star's shoulder, listening. Starving didn't sound like fun |c
Star: The woman let out a small sigh, her eyes trailing over to the little collection of eyes. Eehh...
Shylah: She gazed curiously at him for a moment before smiling in an amused fasion. "It would have been much worse if it wasn't starved." she replied calmly.
Noroi: Noroi looked confused. Usually it's worse when things are starved, she thought. They're more desprate. She glanced at Star, waiting to see what she had to say. Maybe she would prove her right? - .o
Star: Star thought the same, but it being starved most likely made the creature weaker. "Well why was it starved in the first place?" she inquired, "and what did you hope to happen?"
Shylah: She looked at Star and tilted her head a bit at the woman. "Because even though it's been here since it was a pup, it's wild and it would kill us, leaving it to roam free, and kill everything else it could find." she replied, lacing her fingers together and resting them on her lips as she leaned forwards a bit. "The answer to your second question is a secret." she said flatly, though there was a slightly odd tone to her voice. She narrowed her eyes, thinking to herself.
Noroi: The young dragon tilted her head and frowned a bit. "How is that secret? Because you don't know what you expected to happen?" she questioned.
Star: Star waited for the girl to answer the young dragon's question. If this wasn't the case, Star felt she still had the right to know the reason. :I
Shylah: Shylah's eyes flickered up to the young dragon and she frowned a bit. "Anyways, the point is, it didn't work. I doubt any of you would be able to help either." she said, gazing at the three of them, not answering the question. She sat up, resting her arms on the desk, folding her hands. "And truthfully, I would rather you leave. I have other things to attend to, I don't need any distractions." Truthfully, she was tired, and was not enjoying being questioned when she had that cloudy feeling draping her mind like fog.
Noroi: Noroi frowned at her, feeling like she should comment, but she had already had her eye ripped out once, and she really didn't want to make this woman mad.
Star: Star, on the other hand... Her eyes flashed with a bit of annoyance. "You didn't answer Noroi's question," the woman pointed out.
Shylah: Shylah's gaze landed on Star and she looked aggrivated for a moment before her expression turned into a more bored one. "Yes, I know." she returned. "I have no reason to answer it. It would only lead to a time wasting discussion, much like this one." she added.
Noroi: Noroi huggled Star's neck a bit, being on her shoulders and all, and frowned unhappily. Shylah just called her a waste of time ; .;
Kiko: Stepping forwards, Kiko narrowed his eye at Shylah. "We came all this way, I think you should show a little respect," Kiko said, slightly used to getting his way since, you know, he was the shadow lord. "We deserve a little explanation, a little bit of your time." Kiko crossed his arms over his chest, waiting.
Star: Star smiled a bit at Noroi, before she wandered a few footsteps, to an eye on the ground. As she listened to Shylah and Kiko, she picked it up, looking it over. It was looking back. "He makes a good point," Star put in, when Kiko had finished.
Shylah: The girl gazed at them for a moment before leaning back. "Yes, I'm sure you would think that," she replied, "Funny, considering you just barged in." she added.
Noroi: Noroi glanced at Star and waggled her tail a bit, hugging her a bit again, before she gazed at the eye the woman was holding and frowning. Ew o ^o
Kiko: Looking somewhat impatient, Kiko sighed. "Well now that we're here," He reasoned. "You might as well explain." He would also like his eye back BUT thats beside the point.
Star: Such an odd texture... Star dropped the eye, doing similar to what Zo had done earlier, and wiped her hand on a bit of her dress, despite her hand being covered in bandages. Star waited for Shylah to explain. It wasn't like Star was going to leave before she did anyway.
Shylah: The girl sighed impatiently. "There's nothing to explain. Or rather, there's no way to explain, and considering you know what happened, I highly doubt that any of you would be willing to go in the room with it to see for yourself. You're wasting your time, not to mention mine, so sorry. Leave." she replied, standing up, gazing at them coldly.
Noroi: The dragon looked at Shylah, not liking how mean she was being. |c
Kiko: "We aren't leaving." He replied with an equally icy gaze. "Show us that room, I don't care, I just want an explanation." He spoke, then glanced at Star and the dragon.
Star: Star simply nodded, before allowing her large spectacles to fall in front of her face, and she peered into the darkness behind them all.
Shylah: The girl stood there a moment before the aggrivation suddenly seemed to fade. Not responding to them, she went to the door and left, but not before glancing back at them. She didn't ask them to follow, but it was rather obvious that that was exactly what she wanted them to do.
Noroi: Noroi blinked and looked down at Star, wondering if they were actually going to follow - .o'
Kiko: Kiko didn't hesitate-- following Shylah into the the doorway.
Star: Star followed the two, and smiled reassuringly at Noroi.
Shylah: She moved through the caves, leading them towards the room the wolf was kept in. She had apparently decided not to talk to them anymore.
Noroi: She blinked at Star and hugged her |c She didn't like the scent they were getting closer to...
Star: Aware that what they all were going towards may not be so pleasant, Star moved Noroi a bit, so Star was holding the young dragon a bit more protectively.
Shylah: Shylah stopped before a door in one of the cave systems after they had gone down into the caves a ways. She stood aside and pushed the door open, showing a large wolf-like creature laying in the middle of the room with its back to them. Its breaths were coming out in short pained wheezes.
Kiko: Kiko stepped ahead of Star and Noroi, somewhat protectively, since he didn't want either of them to get hurt. He glanced at the wolf, and turned his head towards Shylah. "Now can you tell us /why/ you have a wolf in this cave? Or why you chose to send Zo down this tunnel?" And he noticed the ribs he could see on the wolf, and he could tell it was hungry. Kiko's eyebrows lowered, so his eyes were narrowed.
Noroi: Noroi hid her face in Star's hair because she does not want to see a starving animal. ; ^;
Star: Star stroked the top of Noroi's head softly, to comfort her. The poor animal...
Shylah: The woman didn't respond, gazing at the wolf, her eyes narrowed slightly. The creature's ear twitched and it looked up, turning its head to look at them with its strange colorfull eyes. It let out a whine and put its head back down, gazing sadly at them.
Kiko: Although he felt bad for the animal, he didn't know what else they could do. "Can you- Can you just tell us why you decided to show this animal to Zo?" Said Kiko, biting his lip absentmindedly. He directed his gaze towards Shylah, waiting, while he also stood protectively in front of Star and Noroi, and pushed them lightly towards the door, so they didn't have to look at the room anymore.
Noroi: The young dragon hugged Star's arm :c
Star: The white-haired woman stayed silent, awaiting Shylah's answer.
Shylah: The girl stayed quiet for a moment before looking at them. "Nah." she replied, waving them away and going to close the door. She frowned at the creature before going to walk away.
Kiko: "You can't just-" He made an aggravated noise before he stormed after Shylah, placing his hand on her shoulder to stop her. " /Answer me,/ " He ordered her.
Continuing the Shylah thing...

Noroi: Noroi huggled Star's neck a bit, being on her shoulders and all, and frowned unhappily. Shylah just called her a waste of time ; .;
Kiko: Stepping forwards, Kiko narrowed his eye at Shylah.

Noroi: Noroi huggled Star's neck a bit, being on her shoulders and all, and frowned unhappily. Shylah just called her a waste of time ; .;
Kiko: Stepping forwards, Kiko narrowed his eye at Shylah. "We came all this way, I think you should show a little respect," Kiko said, slightly used to getting his way since, you know, he was the shadow lord. "We deserve a little explanation, a little bit of your time." Kiko crossed his arms over his chest, waiting.
